Your responsibilities will include:

• The Quality Assurance Engineer represents Quality Engineering within the New Product Development team supporting the activities during various stages of a product's life cycle. This individual ensures that either new product development or sustaining engineering projects are conducted in compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. • This individual will work in a design team setting. This individual will support design control activities for new product development efforts, including design transfer. He/she will develop risk assessment, inspection methodology and acceptance criteria for incoming and outgoing inspections. The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide leadership in the understanding of FDA X-ray regulations to other disciplines. He/she must be able to communicate effectively at all levels within Quality as well as across other departments such as R&D, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Marketing. • The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop and execute test and validation plans to ensure that product and quality requirements are met. The resulting data from these test will provide a “fitness for use” recommendation from Quality. • The Quality Assurance Engineer participates in component and service supplier evaluation, including supplier audits, as applicable. This individual works as needed with suppliers to ensure appropriate quality controls are implemented. The individual in this position will be expected to review product documentation and release product for Customer use, as well as QA taking leadership of Design History Files. This individual guides product development teams on efficient and effective application of design controls. • The Quality Assurance Engineer generates Engineering Change Requests to release and provide continuous support of QA Work Instructions and Processes. • The Quality Assurance Engineer generates Non-Conformance Material Reports (NMRs) as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in an Engineering or Scientific discipline. • Detailed oriented, quality conscious, and an aptitude for maintaining records • Proven hands-on test and inspection experience using a variety of precision measurement tools. • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel. • Proven experience in quantitative data analysis, measurement systems (metrology), reporting methodologies and ECR processes. • Must be familiar with blue prints and data sheet interpretations.
