We provide a variety of social services to Los Angeles area communities such as Head Start programs, Upward Bound college prep programs, veterans’ services, homeless shelters, low-income housing program as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Responsibilities: • Responsible for implementing POS REP (Position Report) technology • Will assist with community outreach as needed • Interface with community partners and stake holders • Complete program reviews as required • Will work with POS REP creator as needed, to achieve data reporting capability • Responsible for training Battle Buddies on current technology and Evidenced Based Practice (EBP) • Coordinate recovery groups for program participants • Participate with performance assessments as needed
Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (or other related degree) from accredited university • At least 2 years of experience working with mental health/substance abuse/ and homeless Veterans • Effective written and oral communication skills • Must be able to work with individuals from varied backgrounds • Proven working knowledge of Microsoft office; ability to learn and use program specific software/technology • Must possess a valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation with adequate insurance
Additional Requirements: • At least 1 year's experience within a residential treatment setting • US Armed Forces Veterans, or experience working with the Veteran population • Basic knowledge of psychosocial treatment modalities e.g. CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, etc.
