Job Summary:

In this high-visibility role, the analyst will be an integral part of the central Corporate Strategy group. The Corporate Strategy group supports the development, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives that drive the strategic plan. The analyst will have interaction with the executive team on a daily basis in a demanding environment. This includes the development of executive presentations for the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and the Shareholder.

What you can expect to do:

• Support development of executive level updates and major presentations

• Partner with business units & support groups in the creation of key strategy-related deliverables

• Assist in the creation of the Mid-Term Strategic Plan and annual strategic plan updates

• Track and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives across the enterprise and disseminate progress to stakeholders

• Analyze and report on industry and competitive developments

• Provide senior leadership with data-driven business insights in order to answer key strategic questions

What we’re looking for:

Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, analytical, strategic thinkers, with excellent problem-solving skills. You should be highly quantitative as well as qualitative, passionate about the banking industry, and comfortable in a highly visible, rapidly changing environment.

Ideal candidates will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or other business discipline

• 1 years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, or other role in the banking industry such as financial planning and analysis. 2016 graduates with previous internships will be considered

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Data analysis experience required

• Demonstrated experience working on cross-functional projects

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• CFA Charterholder or CFA candidate preferred

• Great time management skills and ability to multi-task

• A strong desire to continuously learn
