CHP Behavioral Health Services seeks to enhance population health through the institution of standardized, evidence-based treatment modalities across the continuum of behavioral healthcare while endeavoring to provide quality treatment, affordable care and improved emotional health and well-being of those whom we serve.
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Network Director of Behavioral Health Nursing Services has responsibility for the operations of patient care and other assigned services with the market. Along with the Network Medical Director and Network Director for Programs Excellence, the Director for Nursing Services, comprise the market Behavioral Health Transformation leaders. Together, this team is responsible for the development of services and market partnerships directed toward providing behavioral services for population health. This position is responsible for assuring the realization of quality and patient satisfaction measures; that nursing providing treatment are credentialed and trained in the recovery model of care delivery; and is proactive in seeking improvement opportunities. It is expected that the Director is able to perform all nursing functions for the Behavioral Health Institute and maintain services above minimum standards for regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities include: Ensuring nursing excellence and quality in patient care delivery throughout the behavioral health continuum of services; fiscal management; management and leadership of Behavioral Health nursing staff; collaboration with physicians; maintenance of working relationships with hospitals and network departments and managers; promotion of positive interaction with families, visitors, and vendors. The Director is responsible for providing opportunities for professional growth and development for all staff members. The Director collaborates across the System to achieve standardization of clinical processes and is accountable for the implementation of Behavioral Health Standards of Excellence across the care continuum.
Qualifications - Minimum
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors required, MSN or equivalent preferred.
Ohio license as Registered Nurse or license-eligible.
Hospital/Health Administration experience preferred.
Five years of progressive management experience required.
ANCC Certification in Mental Health Nursing required.
Demonstrates leadership organizational skills and effective communication skills;
Experienced in organizational leadership strategies
Exceptional communication skills.
Makes decisions based on an analysis of facts and general principles to achieve results.
A proven leader and self-starter who is highly team- focused and able to work easily in an interdisciplinary clinical setting.
Comfortable working in a complex, matrixed environment.
High energy level.
Flexible, responsive and responsible.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to travel regularly to all sites within the market and attend virtual meetings. Minimal long distance travel required.
