Description Production Line Admin (MPL FRESH)
The essential function of this position is to execute the administrative responsibilities associated with production orders. This individual is responsible for a wide variety of duties including but not limited to this job description.
Safety First – perform all job responsibilities in a safe manner, bringing any safety concerns to the attention of the production leadership team.
Customer Service Excellence – help monitor production quality to meet the customer order specifications, with a strong focus on all product, case, and pallet labels.
Abide by and assist with enforcing company policies; communicate issues to Supervisors and Area Managers.
Work on/with the line when requested by the Supervisor, or when a break in administrative responsibilities allows.
Execute the administrative responsibilities associated with production orders: oInput and output product in NAV. oPrint labels using the customer spec and the Label View Software; take label checklist to supervisor for secondary accuracy check and sign off. oClear old labels off line once the run is complete. oPrint pallet tags. oEnsure correct country of origin on all labels (PLU, clam, box) and pallet tags. oInitial completed pallet tags once all administrative work has been verified as accurate.
Communicate with the hi-lo drivers to coordinate the comings and goings of production materials (#2/#3 product and packaging).
Verify allocations are correct as per the commodity allocation sheets (verify incoming PO, country of origin, date, and size/count); inform Supervisor of any discrepancies or concerns.
Work with Supervisor and Line Lead to coordinate changeovers.
Accurately count, record, and tag line grade out.
Complete required documentation (grade out forms, label checklist, etc.)
Requirements Position Requirements:
Computer proficiency required, with data entry experience preferred.
Must pass Drug Test and Background Check.
Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated problem solving and attention to detail.
Must attend mandatory company new hire orientation.
Must attend any necessary/scheduled meetings and training sessions.
