Mastronardi Products Inventory Supervisor in Livonia, Michigan

Description The essential functions of this position is the supervision of all Inventory Administrators and scan clerk personnel, along with oversee the harmonization of electronic and physical inventory movements through the building. Primary areas of focus are inventory counts, inventory reconciliation/adjustments & overall inventory accuracy throughout all of operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inventory count process, including but not limited to reconciliation and verification of inventory adjustments and posting of adjustments into WMS/ERP systems

  • Root cause inventory discrepancies and come up with corrective actions

  • Liaise with Commodities, Quality, Receiving, Production, and Shipping regarding inventory questions

  • Work with all of Operations to promote, improve and maintain efficient inventory flow

  • Supervise, schedule, train and coach the Inventory administrators

  • Regularly audit inventory RACK-ID locations, to ensure in working order

  • Follow-up with the team to ensure equipment is being used safely and properly

  • Review inventory storage to ensure area is maintained in an efficient and GMP acceptable fashion

  • Develop new tracking mechanisms for inventory accuracy as the business changes

Requirements Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role

  • Minimum 5 years experience in inventory management

  • Must have the ability to effectively follow-up with personnel and handle multiple ongoing projects and tasks

  • Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally

  • Excellent Math Skills and ability to count

  • Proficient with MS Office

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

  • Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity

  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills; need to be creative, adaptable and able to accurately work with a sense of urgency

  • Must be a self-starter and willing to work flexible hours

  • Proven leadership skills

Working Conditions:

  • Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperature averages 50 degrees. The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.

  • Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis

  • Visual and audio sensory are needed regularly

  • Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills

  • Capable of frequently lifting 20 lbs
