Jack Henry & Associates is seeking the talented, the focused, and the ambitious to join our team our Systems/Network Administrators for our Enterprise Technology Services Infrastructure team. This team is comprised of over 8 of the brightest Network and Systems Administrators available! As a Systems/Network administrator you will be responsible for monitoring, modifying and maintaining systems for acceptable availability, stability and response time for customers. This position will focus on Data Center infrastructure including cabling power and physical hardware.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 years of enterprise level experience in network and server administration

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs and have the ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and climb to install servers and run cabling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with SAN (Storage Area Networks)

  • Blade Server Experience

  • Large Network Technology (Multi-Switch Environment)

  • Understanding of HVAC and power as it pertains to data center management

Essential Functions:

  • Developing professional expertise. Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.

  • Monitors systems for optimum performance and availability.

  • Implements system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves customer and internally-reported system problems.

  • Implements and monitors corporate security policies.

  • Documents and implements system procedures, policies and events.

  • Participates in on-call 24x7 support rotation.

  • Performs essential functions required for effective system backup and restore testing.

  • Performs periodic recovery testing of DR plans.

  • May manage data access and data permissions.

  • May Assists in managing user accounts.

  • May assist support groups with applications installed on servers..

  • Travel to remote office locations and data centers across the United States to perform server and infrastructure installation and support
