A great opportunity for a driven individual who will generate revenue by selling software and professional services to accounts via the phone and/or Internet. As anInside Sales Manager duties would include inbound and/or outbound cold calling and other telesales activities for new or existing accounts. You will also assist in generating leads, follow-up proposals, price quotes and contract requests for the field sales team. In addition, you will respond to email inquiries and price quote requests. Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment. Required to consult with senior peers on certain projects.

*Principal Functions of the Job *

  • Meet/exceed quota by closing sales

  • Generate proposals, price quotes and contract requests based on defined Company standards while diligently moving these thru the approval channels.

  • Call on prospects and qualify new sales leads, follow up on existing leads, and generally create as many sales opportunities as possible for the company.

  • Set up appointments for Senior Sales Staff if needed.

  • Communicate features of products and services articulately and persuasively to clients.

  • Enter and maintain sales pipeline and contact information into Salesforce

  • Visit client’s in-person when needed to discuss products and assist with presentations.

  • Attend industry conferences and sales meetings.

  • Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Mediware management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.

Job Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2+ year’s telesales experience selling to hospitals or healthcare companies with a proven track record of sales success. Healthcare software sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Previous experience marketing or installing healthcare information technology is a plus.

  • Must have an outgoing personality.

  • Ability to build and develop relationships quickly with key decision makers.

  • Eager to learn and expand selling skills.

  • A goal driven personality with a need-to-win attitude.

  • Solid communication skills in English (verbal and written).

  • Self-motivation and discipline.

  • A desire to succeed and advance within the organization (career-focused).

  • Good Excel skills

  • SalesForce or similar CRM skills

  • Experience working in Word and Outlook and ability to learn new computer skills quickly.

  • Ability to overcome objections and rejection.

  • Must be able to travel up to 40%.
