Your Challenge:

Join Philips Healthcare in Latham, NY as an experienced Lean Transformation Specialist, operating under the Business Transformation Lead for our Diagnostic Imaging business.

Your Responsibilities:

The primary job duties will be to assist and participate in significant Lean activities resulting in measurable business improvements in financial and customer terms. As a change agent the Business Transformation organization, our associates are responsible for introducing the appropriate methodology and tools to team members and the broader organization. The Business Transformation Team is expected to mentor, train and coach team members as required. They provide expertise on Business Excellence tools including, Daily Management Problem Solving Lean, process improvement, facilitation, Kaizen, and others as appropriate.

What we need :

  • Four year degree in business or technical discipline

  • Must have 3+ years Lean experience

  • TPI experience required

  • Demonstrated track record of successful process improvement

  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills

  • Effective communication / interpersonal skills

  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence multiple levels of management

  • Self-starter with drive, determination, focus and initiative

  • Ability to achieve goals

  • PC skills & aptitude for utilizing software applications

Skills and Competencies desired:

  • Advanced business or technical degree

  • Experience in Training/coaching/mentoring other team members

  • Project Management experience

  • Experience in various process improvement tools and change management

  • Executive presentation skills

  • Experience with Lean in transactional areas of Sales, Service and/or Marketing

  • Willing to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time
