TheAssistant Manageris responsible for managing food service units that offer popular brands and programs such as Pizza Pizza, Ritazza, Balanced Choices, The Grille, Menutainment-and Tim Horton-s. This role participates in the successful execution of Retail unit goals, objectives, operational and marketing plans as set out by the Manager.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of ourAssistant Managers, we-d ask you to do the following for us:
Assist in the preparation of menus and ordering of Food supplies for retail units.
Provide visible presence during peak service hours, answer employees and customers- inquiries and concerns promptly.
Assist in the preparation of cash deposit and reports in accordance to Compass cash control standards and procedures.
Ensure appropriate staff coverage in all areas of service and production and work collaboratively with Staff to ensure the successful execution of Morrison-s branded concepts and retail standards.
Provide input in staff hiring, training, coaching and disciplining.

You have at least two years of related food service experience and a food service/hospitality degree or equivalent experience.
You have knowledge of food preparation, food safety and restaurant service.
You have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
You are familiar with Windows, Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
You have basic accounting skills.
You have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal and written).
You have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently.
