Job Summary *
The TPRM ISA Engagement Initiation Manager (EI Manager) will be responsible for managing the risks inherent to IT-related Activities under consideration by Integrated Services for the Americas (ISA) for outsourcing to Third Parties. The EI Manager will be responsible for applying the TPRM Framework and prescribing the minimum standards and activities to which Business Units must adhere to and undertake to consistently and effectively manage the risks associated with Activities used or carried out where such Activities are supported by Third Parties.

The EI Manager will be responsible for applying the TPRM Framework and prescribing the minimum standards and activities to which Business Units must adhere to and undertake to consistently and effectively manage the risks associated with Activities used or carried out where such Activities are supported by Third Parties. With regards to the TPRM Framework, the EI Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Planning: Collaborate closely with the Business Units, Third Party Managers, Central Program Management Office, and Enterprise Spend Management Dept. to become informed of IT projects that are being considered for outsourcing to a third party, or are being considered for engagement renewal, and track the engagement initiation to ensure completeness throughout the TPRM Lifecycle.
Facilitate the completion of the initial risk assessment of the Activity under consideration for outsourcing to a Third Party, and provide guidance as necessary to the Business Line requesting the Activity as well as the Third Party Manager assigned to the potential Third Party engagement. Review and challenge the completion of the initial risk assessment to ensure reasonableness of the risk rating with regards to the risk criteria prescribed in TPRM procedures, as well as, review and challenge the completeness of documentation and management approvals per guidance outlined in SOM 103-15 before releasing the proposed Activity to the Due Diligence phase of the Lifecycle.
Due Diligence: Facilitate the completeness of the Due Diligence phase by ensuring that all action items associated with the selection of a Third Party are satisfactorily addressed by Subject Matter Experts, the Third Party Manager, Business Unit Risk Managers, etc. before approving the Activity to proceed to contract negotiation. Facilitate the completeness of performance expectations and key measures that will be applied to the Third Party, and work with Enterprise Spend Management to ensure such measures are included during the contract negotiation process. Review and challenge the completeness of documentation and management approvals required under SOM 103-15 before approving the activity for contract execution.
Knowledge Transfer: Establish a continuous & effective knowledge transfer process to the Third Party Managers for completion of the TPRM lifecycle (Transition Execution, Ongoing Monitoring, and Termination Phases).
Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reporting of third party risks to management in order to facilitate a dialogue in which proper governance is achieved.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish key relationships across the firm.
Strong project management skills and risk assessment expertise is required.
Familiarity with information technology, infrastructure and / or applications, SDLC processes, and testing concepts is required.
Infrastructure / applications, third Party Controls & Risk Management & SDLC & Change Management. CTPRP/CRVPM certification a plus.
Undergraduate degree in risk management, computer science, or equivalent experience.
