Kforce Technical Architect in Indianapolis, Indiana

One of Kforce clients on the Northside of Indianapolis (Keystone area) is seeking a Technical Architect.We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can understand and make recommendations about the banks organization of current systems, their components, how the components relate to each other and their environments, as well as the principles governing its design and evolution. Specific Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall system design and integration

  • Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to fully support requirements

  • Provides technical specifications for team in the following areas: Systems Integration, Database, Applications, Operation system environment, Network, Security, Data

  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist

  • Leads systems integration design activities

  • Conducts training for IT Staff

  • Provides applications and systems performance tuning support

  • Conducts product evaluations with analysis of varying technology solutions

  • Documents the analysis and solutions as part of engineering activities

  • Keeps abreast of technological developments and industry trends

  • BS in Computer Science preferred

  • Business experience with financial or accounting systems; or equivalent combination of education and IT support of financial systems

  • Experience with the .Net development environment using C#, ASP.NET

  • Familiarity and experience in MVC, MVC3, WPF, and WCP

  • Experience with MS SQL Server database technology and T-SQL

  • Experience with Oracle database technology specifically PL/SQL or Java

  • Familiarity and experience with UNIX shell scripting

  • Familiarity and experience with SOA and the JBoss Application Server Environment

Experience with Java

  • Familiarity and experience in client-server development specifically using Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) development tools, Crystal Reports, or Microsoft Access

  • Experience with all Microsoft Office products

  • Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and large scale integrations

Project planning and estimating skills, experience supervising others in system development projects

  • Ability to work efficiently on stand-alone or team projects

  • Must possess good problem solving skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Must not have been convicted on any civil or criminal charge that would suggest a risk to Bank security

  • Ability to work full-time
