  • Account/Technical Subject Matter Experts in this specialty perform the responsibilities of the job specialty within the Systems Services competency.

  • Supporting one or more services lines and/or accounts.

    What you’ll do:

  • Perform console monitoring for Mainframes systems

  • Lead escalation of high severity incidents

  • Ensure all work entered into tracking tools

  • Ensure all SLO/SLAs are met

  • Continually match workload and resource skill to optimize deliverable execution

  • Analyze all incoming work thereby deriving a solution that optimizes the execution on a continual basis

  • Lead resolution of issues and/or, collection of project requirements process for pooled accounts and takes ownership for assessing issues or receiving detailed requirements and documentation.

  • Ensures customers/account teams follow standard guideline and procedures when requesting service from the all pool.

  • Lead the implementation by training the team on recommended processes and monitor compliance new processes

  • Make recommendations to improve operations

  • Making reports from critical incidents

  • Preferred Tools and Skills: z/OS, Native Mainframe Omegamon monitor, Connect-Direct version, TEC.

  • Setup appropriate scheduling of applications and Operator Instructions relevant to the processing platform.

  • First-second level support of batch processing.

  • Develop and test custom scripts as necessary.

  • Recovery activities in production, disaster tests and during a disaster.

  • Preferred Tools and skills: ESP, CAWA-DE, Visual Batch, Entrust Solo, Citrix XenApp.
