Philips Sr. Manager M&A Rewards in Home Worker, Massachusetts

  • Post-Merger rewards integration:

  • Conduct job mapping, grade equalization, compensation and benefits harmonization, and identify any elements of culture which will impede harmonization.

  • Retention strategy design to identify and ring fence key talent along with talent management team, support business by defining retention strategy for maintaining key talent that is critical to realizing the value of the transaction

  • Prepare communication materials and conduct training sessions to ensure smooth integration from a rewards stand point.

  • Facilitate the execution of post-merger compensation and integration activities for acquisitions or Joint Ventures to, ensure a smooth transition into Royal Philips, ensuring value creation and business objectives.

  • Due Diligence:

  • Evaluate compensation and benefits arrangements of the target company and conduct comparative analyses to identify gaps/risks/go and no-go decisions

  • Run risk assessments, review and asses impact of defined benefit plan offerings, benefits employment contracts that provide enhanced benefits, including severance to employees, collective bargained agreements etc.

  • Provide financial input for the Post Merger Integration plan

  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of operational / financial/ and legal risk assessment sufficient to support risk evaluation by functional consultants and give inputs towards mitigation

  • Review purchase agreement for rewards related provisions

  • Liaise with key stakeholders (HR, legal etc.) and Rewards partners to leverage the networks to support roll out of rewards integrations in line with the agreed integration plan

  • Support development of rewards content as part of the HR Communication Plan.

Background and Experience

The position requires 5+ years of relevant experience in due diligence and integration execution and support of M&A’s and overall 10 year of experience in rewards/analytics and good project management skills. Individual with a natural tendency to team up and enjoys working with dedication and passion in a fast changing environment, dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty.

This position requires

  • Deep knowledge and broad experience in both due diligence and post-merger integration specifically in compensation and benefits areas.

  • Track record in managing multiple projects (4-6) successfully in varying stages at the same time.

  • Dealing with Ambiguity, Planning and Prioritization skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills and business acumen

  • Highly process oriented, is proactive and be able to work within broad deliverables

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective relationship building with cross-functional team (finance, legal, business, HR & etc)

  • Should be mobile (travel 20% of time); fluent in English is a must and bilingual/multilingual is an advantage

  • Lean/Kaizen skills is a plus

  • Healthcare sector experience is preferred.
