Philips Healthcare Informatics Solutions and Services (HISS)
The healthcare industry is on the cusp of a major transformation towards value-based models, consumerization and industrialization of care. Information Technology (IT) and data analytics play a major role in this transformation.
Healthcare Informatics Solutions and Services is a new business group within Philips’ Healthcare sector that offers hospitals and health systems the customized clinical programs, advanced data analytics and interoperable, cloud-based platforms necessary to implement new models of care. Building off a proven track record in improving the health of ageing and at-risk populations, Healthcare Informatics Solutions and Services will partner with healthcare providers to improve access, lower cost and enhance quality across the continuum of care, from prevention, screening and diagnosis, to treatment and monitoring, and finally after care at home.

The Partner, Transformation Services is a key contributor to broadening Philips’ partnership with our customers. You will be a member of the Healthcare Transformation Services leadership team and will be expected to bring thought leadership in progressive application of IT in the healthcare domain particularly to improve patient care, outcomes, operating efficiency, cost reduction, connected care, patient experience and other significant challenges facing healthcare providers today. You will leverage your experience as a client executive to bring C-suite relationships to the business as well as contribute to continuous improvement in the way that the practice delivers client work.
The Partner, Healthcare Transformation Services will be responsible for business development and project oversight with an emphasis on helping to expand and grow the Healthcare Transformation Services business in general and our Healthcare IT capabilities in particular. He/She must be able to identify potential business opportunities, and then also develop the tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition.
The position will require the individual to conduct business development as well as provide group and project oversight where he or she will help Philips win and execute complex, high profile engagements. He or she will be able to leverage established relationships, with a focus on C-Suite within Healthcare Providers. This person will establish trust with clients through their superior content knowledge across a broad range of complex issues. They should be comfortable and credible in selling and delivering a broad range of healthcare Transformation services.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Achieve a personal business plan/practice which aims to deliver €5M+ in annual consulting revenues;
Deliver superior client service in an effort to establish and confirm Philips market positioning as the premier healthcare transformation services firm and aggressively continue to help grow their respective practice;
Work in close partnership with other Philips executives to capture and maximize revenue opportunities by leveraging the broad array of skills in consulting, technology, finance, clinical and industry expertise Philips offers to clients;
Bring new capabilities to materially enhance and broaden the services portfolio and value that is delivered to Philips clients;
Provide leadership in creating/architecting solution sets that further develops Philips presence in the market.
Research and drive business expansion/collaboration opportunities for the markets
Build and foster relationships, and create strategic alliances with CS leaders across Healthcare

This executive must bring significant healthcare industry expertise and a strong knowledge of the strategic, operational, clinical, financial and regulatory issues facing healthcare providers. Given the potential size and impact of Philips’ consulting engagements, the final candidate must be able to operate at the highest levels within client companies and bring significant strategic value to their overall direction. He/she will not only create close client relationships but be looked upon as a true extension of the client executive team. He/she must be able to influence and collaborate both within the client organization and Philips’ complex global organization. It would be optimal for this executive to have both consulting and operating experience in a complex provider setting.
This individual is most likely currently serving as a Partner, Managing Director, Practice Leader or Vice President within healthcare consulting firm or as a senior IT executive within a complex provider that has an established presence and solid reputation in the healthcare sector. He or she will have experience with a broad range of services, and will bring relationships with key constituents in the market.
He or She will have an excellent reputation and name recognition at senior levels within the industry. This individual will also have experience delivering high quality work and will have provided exceptional value to clients. The Partner will have had experience selling, delivering and managing highly visible strategy, performance improvement, and information ecosystem engagements where clients have looked to this person to help solve their most complex matters.
The Partner should possess the following Skills & Experience:
Strong overall knowledge of key healthcare provider trends and strategic issues facing the industry; An outside-in perspective.
A proven track record in business development of acquiring new clients through establishing deep relationships with clients; Experience in creating and managing relationships at the most senior levels with healthcare providers, payers and complementary product and service providers;
Demonstrated capability to construct and lead a profitable professional services engagements; Have demonstrated ability to oversee large, complex engagements where superior value is delivered to clients, Strong influence and program management skills
A burning desire to conceive and deliver world class and industry transforming solutions.
Passion about delivering true value to the client and assuming the ownership of total client satisfaction and results; Integrity, drive, team orientation, and the motivation to deliver solutions beyond the customer’s expectations.
Proven experience and ability working in matrix organizations. The ability to operate within the Philips ecosystem to leverage Philips unparalleled capabilities; Proven experience illustrating the ability to collaborate and exercise influence both within the company and client organizations.
A “hands-on” operating style and the ability to shepherd emerging solutions to productized offerings;
Ability to lead and manage diverse, cross-cultural teams and individuals and to drive quick wins in order to capitalize on rapidly changing market conditions
An undergraduate degree is required and an advanced degree, particularly MD and/or MBA, is strongly preferred.
