Philips Clinical Applications Specialist in Home Worker, Massachusetts

Your challenge

When you join Philips Healthcare, as a Clinical Applications Specialist you will support Philips IntelliSpace CardioVascular or ISCV project activities from project initiation through closing.

Your responsibilities

As Clinical Applications Specialist , you will facilitate a successful clinical implementation of Philips ISCV in the customer’s production environment. You will conduct workflow analyses on customer sites and make recommendations to the customer for changes to their workflow in anticipation of the system. You will serve in a consultative role regarding all clinical decisions throughout the implementation project.

You will provide clinical training courses for customers and / or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. Interact with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Customize clinical reports based customer requirements.

  • Serves in a consultative role with the customer throughout the implementation to provide for a smooth, effective and successful implementation of the product in the customer environment.

  • Identify potential issues at customer sites and investigate customer issues by working closely with Technical Support service personnel.

  • Prepare weekly reports for administration on all aspects of the applications training operations.

  • Review feedback from customers, compile and analyze support data and recommend procedural and training changes as appropriate.

  • Attend seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when addressing the customer.

  • Position requires 75% travel.

We are looking for

  • B.S. in clinical field preferred.

  • 5 plus years of experience in Cardiology, or 2 plus years supporting / implementing related Clinical Informatics software.

  • Over one year as a trainer or analyst for clinical software preferred.

  • Must be available for 75% travel.

  • Remote employee– preferably lives somewhere East Coast U.S.

  • Previous senior level experience in relevant field strongly desired.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to complete complex tasks independently with minimal guidance.

  • Ability to diagnose more complex customer issues and drive for resolution cross-functionally.

  • Consistently meet or exceed deadline deliverables.

  • High-level professional demeanor and interpersonal communications skills.
