Philips Associate Account Manager (NYC) in Home Worker, Massachusetts

Your Challenge:

The Ultrasound Associate Account Manager will drive sales for the PHILIPS ultrasound organization within our targeted user segments. You will develop growth through driving new customers, and prospecting new opportunities. We challenge you to take an active role in identifying and developing new business opportunities that can potentially make impact to our future or existing business through the following methods:

• Proactive engagements to help achieve/exceed quota

• Establish contact and begin to develop relationships in competitive accounts

• Close ratio or win loss is equal to our market share

• Develop customer loyalty

Territory includes: Metro NY area, including 5 boroughs, Long Island, & Westchester County.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Proactively pursue new customers, in market segments that Philips Ultrasound does not currently serve

  • Acquire and disseminate market and industry intelligence

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the customer at all levels in the buying organization

  • Once an order is closed, continue communication with the customer to insure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns

  • Develop and own strategy for customers within their assigned territory to help achieve the business growth targets

  • Negotiate and close deals by reaching agreements to the mutual requirements of both the Customer and Philips Ultrasound

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

  • 0-3 years Sales and Business Development experience

  • Experience with consultative selling

  • Tenacious, and aggressive towards achieving business objectives

  • Fast paced problem solver

  • Collaborator and team player

  • Advanced level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Strong understanding of the business development cycle

  • Ability to effectively manage assigned territory

  • Overnight travel could exceed 75%

  • Advancement in company, relocation flexibility desirable
