TriStar Summit Medical Centeris looking for aSous Chef (Full-Time, Days, Rotating Weekends).

Hours will vary but will primarily be 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.


The Sous Chef is an individual who, after comprehensive training, is qualified to prepare hot and cold food items in accordance with standardized recipes and techniques for patient services, cafeteria service, and caterings. The Sous Chef supervises staff to ensure food service timeliness, safety, preparation and customer service.

_WORK SCHEDULE_ Work hours may fluctuate to accommodate the department schedule. During low census, the employee may be required to leave early or rotate days off. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the department including scheduling for weekends and holidays.

  • Food preparation experience required.
  • High school/GED required.
  • Previous Food Service Management preferred.
  • Formal culinary training and certification (ACS) preferred.
