Location/Department: Greater Hartford Area Services (Hartford, CT)
Status: Seasonal Full-time, Non-Exempt (November 7, 2016 to January 6, 2017)
Hours Per Week: 35
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Saturday as needed). Must be willing to work on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Scope & Purpose of Position:
To provide support and assistance to the Office Manager during the Christmas Season with filing, answering phones, correspondence, and all activities related to the Christmas Season.

Answer phones and direct calls appropriately, taking detailed messages when needed
Direct volunteers and clients to proper location
Assist Office Manager with various tasks
Provide relief at reception desk or as needed

High School diploma
Experience working in an office setting, non-profit preferred
Professional and courteous telephone demeanor
Works well within deadlines
Must have computer skills and be organized
Ability to work independently and in a team
