Job Summary

This individual provides financial solutions to new and existing customers on investment product purchases by informing them of current and long term market trends and recommending appropriate investments strategies. This position will be expected to provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers in helping our customers achieve their retirement, education, and overall wealth planning goals.

Job Summary

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute transactions with larger and/or more complex customers and/or refer business to other areas within the Company as appropriate, in accordance with established sales goals
  • Complete all sales activity documentation to provide a record for performance tracking and assist in targeting future cross-selling opportunities
  • Prospect clients within the financial institution by establishing and maintaining relationships with all Company customer facing representatives
  • Provide quality service in meeting customer needs, inquires and problems of a more complex nature, Maintain contact with existing customers and referral sources on an on-going basis to identify new or additional sales opportunities
  • Conduct full needs assessment with current and potential Company customers and recommend appropriate investment, insurance, and Company products and services to meet individual needs, based on objectives, risk tolerance and proper asset allocations
  • Represent the Company in community organizations and activities to enhance the Company's image and maintain and enhance a referral network for additional sales opportunities
  • Coach branch-based licensed sales professionals in assigned branches
  • Maintain proper documentation following preset guidelines established by compliance and management
  • Increase sales during tough economic situations
  • Cross-sell Company products to client base
  • Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with Evans Bank, LPL, and any applicable regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues
  • Promote an environment that supports and reflects the Evans Bank brand
  • Maintain Evans Bank, LPL, and internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Embraces the organization's commitment to synergy by seeking and recognizing opportunities to refer new business to all areas of Evans

Required Experience: Education/Experience/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 4 years proven non-traditional banking financial sales experience or equivalent Series 7, 63, 65 or 66 (in lieu of 63 and 65) and life and health insurance licenses Certified Financial Planner preferred Must satisfy background check that includes satisfactory FINRA record
