Your Responsibilities

  • Scientific contributions in the field of multi-modality medical imaging and medical image-processing

  • Contributions to current research projects and the development of the future research portfolio

  • Integration of new research results into new products and solutions of Philips

  • Establishment and maintenance of academic and clinical research collaborations and networks

Your Profile

We are looking for people who want to deliver excellent results for our customers in a team with other highly qualified, innovative colleagues.

  • University degree and PhD in Physics, Electrical engineering

  • Excellent know-how in the field of digital, medical image processing and image analysis by means of modern mathematical methods

  • In-depth proficiency in the field of machine learning/deep learning algorithm development for medical image processing and analysis

  • Excellent know-how in the field of diagnostic imaging

  • Excellent knowledge in the fields of modern numerical methods, optimization methods and data analytics

  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (C/C++, CUDA, Python etc.)

  • Application knowledge in medical diagnostics as well as experience in collaborating with clinical partners

  • Excellent communication and teamworking skills

  • Ability to efficiently work in teams

  • Passion for innovation

  • Proficiency in English language, German would be a plus
