Philips Product Manager (m/w) Fluoroscopy in Hamburg, Germany


Fluoroscopy is one of the main areas of future growth for the Diagnostic X-Ray (DXR) business in the next few years with a number of ongoing and planned New Product Introductions (NPIs) on the prioritized roadmap.

The Fluoroscopy business is a more complex clinical and technical business compared to the X-Ray segment businesses and thus we require a strong marketing leader to provide end-to-end support of key products within the segment.


  • Integrate market research & customer insights into clear Differentiated Value Proposition (DVP) & Roadmap prioritizations

  • Differentiated Value Proposition & Customer Story creation (via clear understanding of our technical capabilities, competitive offerings, & customer requirements)

  • Drive project to success (timeline, costs, quality and features to support DVP)

  • Lead Go to market planning and launch activation (MarCom, Go to Market (GTM) planning, etc.)

Your team

Project Manager will be based in Hamburg and report to the Director of Product Management in Suzhou, China. (Director reports to Senior Director of Marketing DXR also based in Hamburg).

The product manager position will be responsible for products within the Fluoroscopy segment (Nearby & Remote products) and work closely with another Senior Product Manager, a student Product Manager and the Segment Leader to drive the strategy and execution of the Fluoroscopy portfolio.

This position will be essential in driving our re-entry into the Fluoroscopy segment with exciting new launches of NPI projects and strategic management of the very large Philips installed base of Fluoroscopy systems.

This Product Manager will have a number of growth opportunities including promotions to Senior Product Manager Positions both within DXR & within other Philips businesses. The position is also a perfect launching point to positions within the Market2Order organization or within a Field/Regional Marketing position.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor or masters’ degree in marketing, business administration, engineering, clinical etc.

  • 3 - 5 years professional marketing experience in the medical device industry

  • Ability to assess customer needs and translate those needs into a winning value proposition and actionable product specification

  • Ability to drive project teams working on long-term complex projects to successful outcomes (on-time delivery, within budget, winning product spec, etc.)

  • Ability to be self-sufficient, identify, and solve issues themselves with 100% ownership of results regardless of if a necessary task is within or outside of their direct responsibilities

  • Ability to excite sales teams and customers with ideas about new products (and transfer those ideas to Best in Class Marcom and Training materials)

  • Fluent English language skills; German is a big plus
