Your responsibilities

The Field Marketing manager ensures that each individual market can fully exploit the sales and profit potential of the Businesses’ products/solutions or market segment. The primary responsibility of the Field Marketing manager is to understand and anticipate customers’ needs and strategically position products/solutions to generate leads for the sales organization. He/she enables the Business's to act on market specific customer insights and competitor strategies as inputs into product/solutions’ roadmap (features and economic benefits).

  1. Demand Generation
  • Generates demand in new and existing markets by identifying and acting on cross-sell, up-sell, and service sales opportunities in existing installed base Identifies new customer leads, based on customer scan, competitive intelligence, and understanding of market needs

  • Ensures successful hand-off of leads to campaign management/sales performance center for qualification

  • Conducts lead generation and management analytics to continuously improve sources of lead generation (e.g. prioritize trade shows based on lead success rate)

  • Manages and drives campaigns in respective geographies to promote products and solutions

  • Identifies campaigns best suited to achieve objectives for target customer segments on brand

  • Designs campaigns across lifecycle of products (NPI, end of life) to drive profitable growth

  • Selects third-party vendors and negotiate contracts to execute campaigns

  • Tailors messaging and creates local value proposition for local market

  • Ensures compliance of local marketing materials with regulatory requirements (Q&R review)

  • Partners with Sales support (owner) and BCD team to execute local market events that deliver high ROI

  • Develops metrics and measurement tools with Product Manager to evaluate and maximize ROI of campaigns

  • Selects tradeshows and works with local marketing communications team to create target messaging

  • Creates road-show schedule, participant list and messaging

  • Works with Sales support (owner) and Business marketing during key training events

  1. Shapes and develops Market
  • Identifies and manages luminary/reference accounts, in collaboration with PM and sales support; works with sales support to coordinate luminary presentations

  • Manages user groups, and supports Business marketing with Beta/field test support

  • Helps identify and manage relationships with local KOLs, societies, alliances, sponsors, advisory boards, in collaboration with Business marketing and sales

  1. Marketing Planning
  • Owns the development and implementation of the local market marketing plan

  • Provides input into BMC Business planning, in coordination with Market leadership and finance

  • Gather local market and customer insights, and feed information back to Market/Business Marketing

  • Understands relevant marketing customer segmentation and value proposition, provide feedback on how to tailor to meet specific market needs

  • Identifies sub-segments of customers in local market, and codify their needs, and tailor existing value propositions as appropriate

We are looking for

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree

  • Min. 3 to 5 years of working experience

  • Knowledge in Marketing, Finance and/or Buisness Management

  • Experience in “fast moving technology goods” is appreciated

  • Knowledge of the Healthcare Market is appreciated

  • Experience in digital Sales & Marketing

  • Strong communication skills

  • Fluent German and English
