Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) in our Greenville, South Carolina office may be the next career step for you. By working directly with dedicated clients in the fast moving telecom industry, the CSR receives and responds to inquiries regarding processing telecom invoice charges and ensures that the client receives a quick and thorough response to all issues. A day in the life of a CSR is varied as they also process new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and work with internal team members to provide excellent service to our valued clients.

Primary position responsibilities:

  • Work independently to research and respond to client inquires, invoice processing issues, billing and account updates and other requests for assigned clients.

  • Identify internal errors and communicate with team members to correct those errors.

  • Properly process invoices following client specifications and maintain client documentation.

  • Suggest operational improvements by working with management, updating procedural documentation and identifying system enhancements desired by the client.

  • Work directly with vendors to update information for process improvement.

  • Maintain ownership of documented client issues requiring follow up and persistency.

Knowledge and minimum requirements:

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented and possess multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills in order to maintain and develop internal and external customer relationships.

  • Thorough problem solving, analytical and attention to detail skills.

  • Ability to adjust to ever changing technology and proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • At least one year of customer service experience in an environment concerned with problem solving, client development and providing value added services to clients, preferably having been assigned to dedicated customer accounts.
