Kalmar Solutions Commissioning Engineer in Gdynia, Poland
Commissioning Engineer will work in our Gdynia assembly site or at our customer sites around the world on the delivery phase of Kalmar products.
You act as a member of the site/commissioning team
You will carry out the commissioning and testing of thecontainer handling machines, component configuring,documenting and problem solving throughout the whole fleet level
You will independently find solutions and improvements
Technical vocational education (electrical or automation) or BSc. degree in Electrical / Automation Engineering (one of the position is automation commissioner/engineer)
Solid knowledge of electrical systems, PLC and other vehicle control components such as drives and encoders
Solid knowledge of vehicle electrics and ability to carry out electrical works. Understanding of mechanics and hydraulics is considered as a benefit
Previous experience from industrial machinery. Knowledge of container handling vehicles is considered as a benefit.
Teamwork skills but also ability for independent troubleshooting and problem solving
Fluent written and spoken English
General understanding of modern ICT technology and automation is a benefit
Willing to travel extensively
Ability to learn and develop yourself to become an expert in the field of commissioning industrial machines
