Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) has an exciting opportunity for aManager of Nursing Support Services.If you are an experiencedRN leaderwith a passion for developing and supporting a talented team of nurses, this is the place for you!Responsibilities for theManager of Nursing Support Servicesinclude: · Responsible for overall and daily coordination and functioning of the nursing administrative supervisors, IV/PICC team and staffing coordinators at NGHS.· Works with the Director to provide leadership to the assigned staff including hiring, orientation, evaluations, annual competency maintenance, disciplinary action, professional growth and job satisfaction and scheduling of the staff.· Maintains financial accountability for the assigned departments overall.· Works collaboratively with the Coordinator, Resource pools, Nursing PO coordinator and department managers on issues related to staff including competence, satisfaction, quality, safety and customer service.· Follows up on customer compliments/concerns/complaints and grievances on all assigned depts. and assists as resource for all nursing areas.· Works across divisional lines to review needs for the organization in related to both patient care and administrative issues including nursing projects.· This position carries 24 hour responsibility and accountability. Two years should be progressively more responsible experience in management or clinical supervisory leadership role (managing other RN's).
