We are seeking an experienced Inside Service Sales Representative to join our team in Fremont, CA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Inside Service Sales Representative supports the operations and sales team from an internal position. They must be able to manage the entire sales process and have technical knowledge of the compressed air system. The Inside Service Sales Representative provides proactive steps to contact lost customers and bring them back to Atlas Copco, as well as field recommendations from the Service Technicians, qualify the recommendation and provide either a quote to the customer or allocate the recommendation to a Service Sales Manager. The Inside Service Sales Representative will also be responsible to provide technical support to customers and the Service Coordinators as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Must be comfortable with communicating over the phone and managing a quotation log.

  • Proactive lead generation will be expected.

  • Timely and accurate reporting to the Regional Service Sales Manager on sales activity is a must.

  • The position is expected to significantly drive revenue growth from new and existing customers.

  • Meet sales targets and drive customer satisfaction through proactive sales.

  • Successful candidate must have a strong technical background and be comfortable making recommendations and identifying the bill of materials for complex repairs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience requirements

  • High School diploma and equivalent work experience required or Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred

  • Minimum of two years of previous sales experience a must

  • Prior industrial sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Must have good phone skills and able to take cold calls over the phone.

  • Must be self-directed.

  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven multi-tasker who has a high level of energy and remains calm in high energy environments.

  • Must be an independent worker that is able to achieve targets with minimum supervision.

  • Have a strong customer service mentality and be a strong team player.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
