Philips Revenue Assurance Manager in Framingham, Massachusetts
This role establishes operational objectives for the Billing, Accounts Receivable and cash management processes within Home Monitoring Lifeline US unit. The position delegates and coordinates and if necessary executes work plans and assignments within the team. Responsible for the financial integrity across billing, credits, collections and cash management
Leads and drives root cause analysis and runs regular reviews with cross-functional teams to identify which processes result in manual activities/late payments/wrong billing. Works to find solutions to eliminate/reduce the root causes. Follows up on the execution of these projects
Responsible for full transparency and complete matching and reconciliation of cash in advance (CIA) from customers across different business models
Manage risk at a local/corporate level to ensure transparency of risk portfolio and to highlight when credit exposures are increasing beyond risk appetite. Works closely with AcOps and Philips North America to review and update credit risk and cash management policies (Credit Risk management role)
Performs account reconciliations, daily credit holds, monthly statement & dunning letter processing, recommendations for credit limit adjustments and bad debt write offs
Reviews and sets performance KPIs and mentors team to drive them efficiently
Coordinate with Philips North America and Infosys in order to drive transparency, Philips policy adherence and standardization of work
Works with complex customer portfolios (B2B, B2G, B2C) and special billing requirements from big accounts
Performs account analysis to identify trends, problems and root causes of ongoing issues and outlines solution plans to improve the situation for both Lifeline and the customer. Resolve escalations from customers (consumers, B2B, B2G)
Responsible for performance management and development of team
Approving/performing ICS/SOX controls

We are looking for
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree with a combination of consumer and B2B billing and collections experience. MBA is a plus
Expert knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment
Tangible experience with managing operations in an environment highly dependent on multiple IT systems. Experience with SAP and People Soft is highly desirable
Experience with managing consumer accounts (high volume) and Business to business accounts with Billing, AR and cash management
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Analytical experience preferred
People management skills
Lean trained is a plus
Willingness to work extended hours when needed
Ability to handle pressure from internal and external customers
Intermediate to advance proficiency in MS excel and MS Access
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance and or Accounting orientated study
