Position Description

Lead the evaluation of industry drivers and automotive characteristics and assess their impact on used vehicle value retention.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical automobile values and assess forecasting performance
  • Evaluate current auction trends and product positioning to refine forecasting process
  • Examine vehicle attractiveness and performance and the impact on value retention
  • Interact with OEMs on product strategy and external/industry groups on future automotive trends
  • Work with Sr Management on Leasing Strategy
  • Develop Residual Value Forecasts at a detailed vehicle level and on a recurring basis
  • Assess new financial products from a used vehicle value perspective
  • Research and understand what and how economic conditions and vehicle attributes impact residual performance
  • Develop assumptions for residual risk models and analytics to support editorial adjustments
  • Lead the development of analytics to support leasing strategy.
  • Assess the subjective attributes to vehicles and correlate them to value
  • Development of scorecards for the automobiles
  • Create new approaches to residual forecasting


  • Auto lending experience
  • Financial Services experience
  • Exposure to regression analysis
  • Data segmentation
  • Risk Management experience
  • Indirect Auto Lease product knowledge
  • Working knowledge of SAS
  • Must love cars
  • Bachelors Degree in
  • Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics
  • Masters Degree preferred.
