Coverage is as diverse as offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, to coastal logging camps in B.C., to construction camps in the Alberta Oil Sands. Facilities are located within drill camps, mining camps, construction camps, pipeline camps, oil and gas installations and correctional facilities.
Now, if you were to come on board as one of ourRecreation Coordinators, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
Create, plan and organize recreation and fitness events.
Support monthly recreation calendar.
Execute all recreations events on the monthly calendar.
Make sure proper equipment is available and in place for events.
Ensure location of events is established and properly publicized.
Design and teach fitness classes and activities to all residents.
Organize and execute sporting activities for all residents.
Provide recreation and entertainment activities, such as poker tournaments, karaoke nights, and pool/ping pong tournaments for all residents.
Plan and promote special events and theme nights, such as Halloween, Christmas parties, Super Bowl, St. Patty’s day, etc.
Maintain fitness equipment and facilitate repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Confirm paperwork is prepared accurately and timely in accordance with operations manual, client, and corporate requests.

You have a diploma or higher education in recreation programming studies as well as a personal training certification; certification in yoga, spin, group fitness, or martial arts would be an asset.
You have previous experience in coordinating recreation and sports/fitness programs.
You are able to lift 40lbs without assistance.
You must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driver’s abstract.
