Your Responsibilities:

The Systems Design Engineer has the primary responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the real needs of the project stakeholders. They serve as a conduit between the portfolio and the software development teams through which requirements flow. An understanding of the clinical environment and clinical workflow needs is important in this position in order to translate user based needs and requirements into design requirements.

In this position, the Systems Design Engineer will help develop high-level business and user requirements. They will decompose such requirements into functional requirements specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for development. Key areas of responsibility will include: Delivering product specifications and related deliverables for new and sustaining projects; Working with engineering staff to ensure a common understanding of the intent and then developing requirements that enable objective testing; Own and facilitate system level deliverables related to product safety and risk assessment, product security, and usability; Participate in the maturation of requirement management and the related ways-of-workings.

PROS utilizes a SAFe Agile/Scrum development approach. The Systems Design Engineer will be expected to participate as a team member in the completion of Systems Design Engineering related tasks and the general completion of backlog items.

Your Requirements:

Degree (BS/MS) in Medical Physics, Dosimetry, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field

Treatment Planning System experience: development, support, or use

Exposure to system requirements, system integration and testing, and risk analysis

More than 3 years of industry experience
