Paint Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Engineering Specialist located in Princeton, IN. (TMMI)

The primary responsibility of this role is develop and implement innovative technology and processing to improve production key performance indicator.


Equipment upgrades/refurbishment $2.5-10M New technology implementation Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America Production Engineering change point support Process control board management to achieve process control Process change point management Unplanned defect problem solving Planned defect reduction activity Project plans required for every project Project cost justification and point of contact for every project Project schedules and strategies for every project Guide process for Team Member, Team Leader, Group Leader , skilled maintenance, and contract cleaning members on process control standards and methods A successful candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree Problem Solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications Experience in cost justification Project management experience Ability to run reports Travel – up to 20%
Overtime – 25%, weekend and holiday overtime will be necessary depending on project Ability to work off shift hours based on project need. Must be able to work in Paint/Solvent infused environment without restriction. Must be willing and able to wear Paint specific Personal Protective Equipment including Chemostat 909 coveralls. A successful candidate may have:

A BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent Experience in Programmable Logic Controllers ladder logic Experience in electro static paint application Experience in electro deposition Experience in Robotics Complete project implementation within a Toyota system Experience in Automotive paint application Standard Benefits:
