The Paint Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Bumper Paint Engineer in Princeton, IN. (TMMI)
The primary responsibility of this role is to support daily paint operations. Monitor daily production conditions and respond to safety and quality issues as needed. Work on developing strong process standards for long term sustainment and improvement of the department.
Daily Key Performance Indicators confirmation, utilizing non-defective conditions for issue tracking/resolution Interface across multifunctional teams Process layouts and equipment capacity studies Daily meetings with production and maintenance Manage improvement and refurbishment projects Lead quality standards development activities as well as problem solving activities Ensure process safety, quality, integrity, and repeatability Equipment capability improvements Train maintenance/production on change points Manage new models Material changes Equipment improvement Assist production with major breakdown issues Lead and coordinate problem solving and reoccurrence prevention Operational Area improvement > Processing and equipment refurbishment Toyota system development, approval, and budget management Shop engineering strategy development based on annual goals
A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Proficient with AutoCAD and/or Inventor Able to work independently to solve complex problems Proficient with Microsoft Office Experience in project management

Automotive paint experience Kawasaki Robot experience Manufacturing experience Experience with Catia Standard Benefits:
