Job Description

Distribution Center System Support Department communicates Distribution Center Processing area’s system needs to the IT Department and develops and maintains Productivity databases for Enfield and Clinton. This area is also responsible for testing and verifying result data for new systems and system changes in addition to creating and generating data for productivity. This position maintains and builds Access databases to track productivity as well as other data utilized in the Enfield and Clinton Distribution Centers


  • ?Developing Productivity and Processing MS Access Databases for Enfield and Clinton

  • Maintaining the Productivity and Processing MS Access Databases.

  • Managing project plans for hours and tasks

  • Preparing user manuals for the MS Access Databases developed.

  • Publishing update documents on current projects and updates

  • Training users on how to utilize the databases.

  • Testing and verifying test results

  • Learning and understanding the processing flow within the D.C.

  • Learning the data flow between the D.C. systems and external systems

  • Preparing and maintaining system and procedure documentation

  • Customer Support for DTC

  • Communication with internal and external departments

  • Attending meetings when required.

  • Publishing update documents on current projects and updates

  • Ability to learn and utilize Crystal Report software to develop reports for the D.C.



  • At least two years of college or at least 4 years of experience working in a Distribution Center plus a High School diploma

  • Ability to work independently and lean new concepts quickly

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Good Communication skills

  • Ability to create flow charts of the developed databases

  • Works will under pressure situations

  • Work overtime, including weekends, as required when needed

  • Manage multiple tasks at the same time

  • Proficient in MS Access database in addition to knowledge of MS Work and Excel

  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2007 is an additional benefit but not required
