Your challenge

One of the key challenges is to reduce ‘decision latency’ by providing actionable insights to decision makers quickly. As a Business Analytics Consultant you understand business dynamics and challenges and support business leaders by articulating their key business questions and addressing those means of actionable insights.

You will contribute to the growth of Philips by delivering actionable insights to business leaders so that they can take the best decision to advance Philips in the market place. You will also be responsible for advancing the reporting & analytics capability in Philips.

Your responsibilities

  • Be partnering with business stakeholders to understand their needs and answer key business questions by means of actionable insights, delivered through Reporting & Analytics solutions.

  • Drive business, process and data analyses to support business development, continuous improvement and strategic planning initiatives. Define problem statements, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions, judge accuracy, appropriateness and plausibility of reports and insights.

  • Lead business problem solving initiatives to determine the best solutions (process, data and technology). You will identify and articulate business process improvements and develop related project proposals.

  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams all the way through completion of each project. For each project, you ensure that key metrics are defined, developed and tracked to show the business value created by the project.

  • Engage with senior leader levels of the organization and act as an internal consultant and trusted business partner.

  • Design, build and deploy reporting & analytics solutions with actionable insights to further mature the Decision Support capabilities in Philips.

Your team

Our Center of Excellence for Enabling Functions in Reporting Services provides actionable insights to business leaders and process owners in Philips to ensure they have all the information at their fingertips to take well-informed decisions. Reporting Services is part of the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) function and creates value to all Businesses, Markets and Functions via two axis; Deep business understanding of key business domains (Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, etc.). Technology literate; designing, building and running the main data & analytics platforms at Philips.For this role we are looking for a specialist in Digital Marketing Reporting.

We are looking for

  • Master degree, preferably in Marketing or a relate related field.

  • Analytics-tool literate. Advanced user of Analytics tools such as Qlikview, Qliksense, Tableau, SAS, SAP Business Objects, SAP Lumira, etc.

  • Several years of Analytics experience, preferably in a business analysts setting.

  • Fluent in English

  • Deep understanding of Web Analytics, Search Analytics and/or Social Analytics.

  • Analytical thinker

  • Experienced with working on multiple projects at once

  • Good at setting priorities in a complex and dynamic environment

  • Interested in new developments within Digital Marketing
