TTC’s Powertrain Certification & Test Engineering Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Dyno Maintenance Technician.

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain facility equipment related to Powertrain operations .

Reporting to the Manager, Powertrain Certification & Test Engineering, the person in this role will support the Powertrain Certification & Test Engineering department's objective to fulfill respective automotive regulatory requirements.


Perform maintenance on Dynos (Chassis, Engine & Transmission) Schedule maintenance activities (in-house & outsource) Communicate with equipment operators on equipment function / concerns Track maintenance / repair vs evaluation schedule Understand Capital Project schedule for new equipment installation Attend training after new equipment install to understand future maintenance requirements Develop work standards for preventative maintenance activities Diagnose and repair Dyno related problems Interface with vendors to understand scope and cost of repairs (when outsource is needed) – confirm status of equipment when complete Develop maintenance plan for Dyno equipment

A successful candidate will have:

Experience with maintenance repair of Dynos (Chassis, Engine & Transmission) Motor Controls knowledge A successful candidate may have :

Experience managing vendors Experience participating in Toyota Business Practice/Problem Solving An Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology A technical certificate Standard Benefits:
