Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs on building electrical systems.
Complete work orders in a timely manner for a variety of electrical equipment repairs.
Efficient time management skills.
Provide daily oversight of contracted vendor partners.
Identify necessary materials and tools required for repair and maintenance.
Uses mobile PDA to retrieve and document the completion of facility work orders.
Perform routine rounding on building systems and recognize deficiencies and needed repairs.
Assist in the inspections of on-site work utilizing knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and Facility Building Standards.
Monitor, operate, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical distribution equipment, switches and generators.
Assists other technicians with minor electrical repairs.
High school diploma
Texas State Licensed Journeyman Electrician required. (TDLR)
7+ years of experience / healthcare experience preferred.
Blueprint reading skills.
Advanced analytical skills.
Emergency Generator maintenance. MV (13,200v) experience a plus.
Fundamental MS Office Suite capabilities.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
