Kforce has a client that is seeking a Content Writer in Dallas, Texas (TX).Summary:This person works closely with the interactive architects, graphic designers, website project managers, usability experts, developers and business leaders to create web page content. User interfaces on this project typically consist of menus, buy flows, forms, procedures, error messages, etc. (samples of these will be needed for submission and make sure to include as many of these types of writing as possible)Key Responsibilities:

  • Using material gathered from internal and external sources, interviews subject matter experts and/or stakeholders

  • Writes user interface content to adhere to online editorial standards, Brand and Legal requirements, and best practices

  • Works with product team to ensures accuracy of content

  • Collaborates with and incorporates feedback from editors to ensure editorial consistency

  • Serves as liaison with other teams to ensure that web content is consistent with wireframes and visual design, text, graphics, etc, are consistent with other types of corporate communication, products and services

  • Writer will also need to check published UI content against baseline documentation and advocate for correct version to display in live site

  • Testing site after release is an important duty

  • Using material gathered from internal and external sources, create and/or modify existing web content using the CMS

  • Multi-task numerous small-scale projects on a daily basis

  • Ensure all content is proofread for error-free publishing

  • Bachelors of Arts degree in English or related field

  • 3+ years of experience as user interface writer

  • Experience with online B2B or B2C e-Commerce is needed

  • Must be able to interview technical SMEs, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather information; must then be able to distill information into useful UI content

  • Requires skills in analyzing business requirements, work flows, technical and marketing information, and feedback for creating UI content

  • Must be able to work collaboratively within a diverse team of participants and stakeholders

  • This position requires working with and understanding legal, marketing, technical, development, and business stakeholder representatives and their requirements

  • Requires the ability to look at and create content from the point of view of the end user, and to be able to advocate for the end user even in instances where UI best practices may not sync with business requirements or technical obstacles
