This position will perform all billing services for the pre-employment department. Be a key player in excellent customer service to establish and maintain relationships with client companies. Have the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a customer related atmosphere.


  • Research, review and articulate missing/missed components required to complete an accurate invoice
  • Prepares the billing for pre-employment services
  • Prepares and corrects all charges on employer and third party invoices daily
  • Prepares and prints invoices and sends out twice a month
  • Makes recommendation to supervisor for write-offs and collections
  • Prepare accounts for adjustments to be posted
  • Follow client protocol and preferences on all company accounts
  • Maintain open communication with our marketing team and with our centers to ensure proper billing for pre-employment services
  • Ensures process and procedures are carried out in all aspects of the billing department
  • Respond to returned mail that is related to billing errors as needed
  • Establish and maintain positive relations with our client companies
  • Document detailed and concise notes in invoice system
  • Take credit card payments over the phone and on auth.net
  • Maintain and respond daily to email and phone inquiries from internal and external departments/clients


  • High School Diploma or higher education
  • Minimum 2 year experience in healthcare billing and invoicing of company accounts
  • Understanding of services offered in our centers including DOT, non-DOT, drug testing, physicals, and chain of custody forms
  • Excellent written and communication skills to interact with clients on phone, fax, and email
  • Assertive collection skills required
  • Strong sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
  • Detailed and meticulous skills required for auditing
  • Abides by ethical coding and correction guidelines
  • Ability to implement processes and change in a positive manner
  • Quick problem solving abilities to recognize payment and billing errors
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations and guidelines
