Job Description Perform as the highest level technical expert, providing both internal and external consulting services. Work independently on advanced systems/software analysis projects. Develop and may conduct training programs. Remain current in operating systems/software analysis technological developments and applications. Recommend future direction or projects to management. Provide expertise and direction in the development or modification of complex software programs to enhance an operating system. A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field and a minimum of ten to twelve years of relevant work experience are required. Degree must be in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Analyze system requirements and support design and development activities for complex systems; guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies; responsible for the integration of requirements, design and technology during the design and development of complex systems; seamlessly incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations; develop associated technical documentation; and guide implementation of and adherence to the C4ISR/DoDAF process and Capability Maturity Model integrated (CMMi) best practices.
Required Skills A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, or related field and a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience is required. Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignments may require working at client site where working conditions may vary. Travel may be required. Eight (8) years’ experience in technical program management and/or as a system development team lead. At least 50% of this experience shall be in programs with particular relevance to SIGINT, Communications Systems, and/or Information Technology. Five (5) years’ experience as a system engineer in programs that encompassed systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operations. Five (5) years system engineering experience obtained in an intelligence community environment. Three (3) years’ testing experience (preferably in the agile software development context), including writing Requirements Verifiability & Traceability Matrices, test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports and familiarity with web services and service-oriented architectures.
This position supports a US Government contract whose terms require Serco staff only with U.S. citizens.
Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Department Our services in the Defense business unit support all branches of the U.S. military and the intelligence community. Our teams provide a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems.
