Aon Is Looking For A Senior Manager, FP&A; Management Reporting


This role will be primarily focused on overseeing and leading ASC Shared ServiceManagement reporting and analytics of roughly $1.7B of costs. Responsible for monthlyforecasting cycles, budgets, and working towards company driven Shared Servicegoals and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reports, analyzes, and interprets financial information based on data collected from financial system applications; prepare periodic financial statements for management.

  • Possess the ability to problem solve and resolve accounting issues at a corporate consolidated level. Along with expert knowledge of general accounting methods, principles, and practices and the ability to apply this knowledge creatively in situations in which procedures are not well defined.

  • Maintains and prepares records to ensure completeness and accuracy; brings inconsistencies to the attention of management.

  • Serves as a reference and maintains information frequently requested by management.

  • Manages consolidations of Shared Service functions along with reporting Allocations to the Operating Units. Provides guidance on process improvement for simplification and reporting accuracy.

  • Outgoing personality to lead and coordinate the Global Reporting process by working withvarious teams regionally and in country. Visibility to Corporate spend and initiatives along withproviding transparent information for Executive leaders to make decisions.

  • Produce MonthlyFinancial decks and define metrics and KPI reporting for expenses and labor related tocorporate functions. Work with teams on analysis and commentary to tell overall story of Shared Services to leadership and Business Units.

  • Partner with Business on providingtransparency of Consumer spend and help drive saving initiatives.

  • Ability to work with many financial systems and possess above average excel skills to providereporting solutions for management reporting decks and analysis. Ability to summarize keyFinancial information and create PowerPoint decks to review financials with Executives and keystakeholders.

  • Ability to problem solve financial/accounting issues with complexity related to currencies andComparability. Be able to resolve accounting issues at a corporate consolidated level and applyknowledge creatively in situations in which procedures are not well defined.

  • Coordinate and lead the annual Budget process. Create reporting for Functional andSub Functional levels, provide year over year analysis for Gross Expenses and allocationmethodologies.

  • Produce Budget decks for Executive meetings along with analysis andcommentaries for Global spend.


  • Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting
  • MBA and or CFA/CPA preferred
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Partner and work with senior leadership
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships
  • Work as part of a team and drive departmental goals
  • Ability to learn and apply several financial systems
  • Results driven, deliver accurate financial data
