The .NET Software Engineer will design and build innovative, cutting edge enterprise software used by hundreds of banks and credit unions around the country, both by the banks’ employees and their customers. They will be responsible for delivering high quality, thoroughly tested code, while participating in all phases of the development cycle from concept, design, coding through implementation
7 years development experience using ASP.NET and C#
5 years experience using T-SQL, MS SQL
5 years experience using OOP principles
2 years experience using Microsoft Unity Framework
4 years experience using N-tier and N-layered architecture
Able to work extended hours as business needs dictate.
Occasional overnight travel
Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, or computer science
Experience troubleshooting using VS IDE
Experience with WCF web services
Familiarity with Microsoft Unit Testing tools, including MS Test and MS Fakes
Experience using Microsoft TFS as a source-control management system
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience of working effectively as part of a team
Good written and verbal communication skills
Serves as a key contributor and subject matter expert on an agile development team, with ability to flex according to business needs.
Completes product technical design and prototyping, software development, bug verification and resolution.
Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
Performs system analysis and programming activities which may require extensive research and analysis, for both new and existing applications.
Provides both individual and project-level cost and effort estimates.
Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards. Participates in the definition and documentation of standards.
Assists in training and mentoring less experienced peers.
Collaboratively works with business, QA and support to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Conducts unit testing and integration testing for both functionality and limits.
May contribute to product architecture.
