FRONT DESK REPRESENTATIVE
Location: Meadowmont Wellness Centers
Scheduled Work Hours: Variable-Days/Evenings/Nights/Weekends
Greets all guests/members into the facility ensuring proper registration according to departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for general receptionist activities including answering and routing telephone calls, taking accurate messages, greeting members etc. according to departmental policies and procedures. Handles monetary transactions at the Front Desk according to departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for opening and closing procedures and verifying that all relevant personnel are on site to allow the efficient operations of the facility. Communicates employee and member issues to Member Services Manager as necessary. Attends monthly staff meetings.
Responsible for registration of members/guests for classes, programs, nursery etc. according to departmental policies and procedures. Helps maintain and update all program books, information books and front desk logs and classroom schedules electronically/paper. Helps identify opportunities for controlling expenses without sacrificing customer service and works with Member Services Manager to implement related strategies .
Helps maintain restocking of inventory and supplies at front desk area. Labels and catalogs lost and found items. Maintains high standards of facility cleanliness and appearance. Responsible for washing and folding towels.
Effectively handles member/customer complaints and situations, preserving customer dignity while reaching a prudent solution. Serves members/customers in a friendly (smile, tone of voice, body language, etc.) and enthusiastic manner. Analyzes critical situations and exercises good personal judgment to arrive at effective solutions. Presents a professional appearance through appropriate uniform, nametag, personal grooming and attitude (positive and helpful).
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Member Services Manager. Is able to work with other Member Services Representatives to build enthusiastic and highly competent team. Takes on relevant tasks and responsibilities to provide variety and growth as asked by Membership Services Manager.
Maintains self-esteem of Team members at all times. Helps develop effective and motivational goals to enhance superior customer service standards.
Requires high school diploma or GED.
