In collaboration with product BIUs, Radiology Solutions delivers customized and configured enterprise imaging solutions designed to improve operational, clinical, financial and overall care delivery performance.
Senior Market Development Manager Job Description:
The Senior Market Development Manager is responsible for the following:
Understand Health System Imaging market needs and evaluate Philips Digital Imaging and Radiology Solution business ability to address those needs
Create business cases and provide recommendations on market entry and development strategy
Support refinement, articulation, and execution of Radiology Solutions business and market development strategy
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Solution offering, components and business model
Provide analytic support by generating value creation models, conducting market analysis, and performing competitive intelligence
Support corporate partnering efforts (e.g., negotiation, coordination of due diligence activity, drafting research plans, conducting financial analysis, etc.)
Craft external partnering presentations
Work with program leaders to support RS portfolio growth and oversight
Manage multiple business relationships with partners and healthcare system collaborators, suppliers and licensors
Project-manage BD activity, including partnering, M&A, joint venturing, new market development and growth activity
Oversee RS partner portfolio to improve overall value (e.g., adjacent market offerings and prospective technology or service ventures with complementary vendors)
Monitor and communicate health system interests and trending needs to Radiology Solutions team and broader Imaging organization on ongoing basis
Execute effective strategies for 'merchandising' RS to Philips customers
Maintain comprehensive understanding of Philips RS product, service, and partner portfolios
Present business case analysis and market growth recommendations to RS BD Director and Leadership Team on regular basis
Conduct market landscaping and player profile analysis (provider, technology/service, payer, etc.)
Develop market opportunity sizing and landscaping reports
Drive Business Market Combination (BMC) from BU side to assure sufficient research and resource planning for success, including target and incentive setting for commercial target achievement
Work with the RS BIU to develop and validate business models (ex. Risk sharing, subscription model, etc.) for offerings in global target markets
Profile and Qualifications:
Master’s degree with 8+ years professional experience in product management/strategy/marketing either in the healthcare information system or medical device space, including experience working in a regulated environment.
Ability to work in a hands-on collaborative fashion with many different disciplines both inside and outside of the company
First hand strategic and operating experience and a proven capability to wear many hats with the capacity to drive numerous complex projects forward simultaneously
Strong track-record of senior relationship management including frequent and longitudinal engagement with executives and/or major customers
Extensive experience negotiating with customers and third party organizations, as well as management and influence of senior level leaders (in company and external)
Robust knowledge of radiology workflow on a departmental and clinical level strongly preferred.
Experience working across organizational boundaries, as well as working in a global organization across various cultures and departments.
Experience working with software product development in an Agile environment preferred
Attention to detail and strong eye for quality
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Salesforce.com
Position in the organization
This position reports directly to the Director of Business & Market Development for Radiology Solutions.
Travel and Relocation
This is a remote position. Requires quarterly travel frequency in the field and with global customers (approx. 30-50% travel, including internationally)
