Now, if you were to come on board as aDirector, Client Services, we-d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Grow existing and develop new business by implementing and supporting new business strategies in collaboration with company support functions.

  • Foster and develop an environment that is consistent with Company Vision, Mission and Values.

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans that will drive successful financial performance, profitable account growth, and enhance the value for our clients.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key client contacts through site visits, formal meetings, and regular contact.

  • Provide direction and support to operations management to attain financial and operational goals.

  • Increase region/division revenue and profitability by developing budget forecasts and operation plans, assessing and analyzing operation capabilities, taking corrective action and ensuring adherence to budget.

  • Establish standards and communicate goals, expectations, and objectives to the operations team.

  • Direct the Quality Assurance program and ensure service delivery meets/exceeds requirements as set out by the contract and is in compliance with internal policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with provincial/federal legislation and standards with respect to employment standards, human rights, employment equity, health and safety, etc.

  • Ensure operations are compliant with standards related to ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and corporate service framework initiatives.

  • Attract, develop and retain associates; develop succession planning; and provide a safe and supportive work environment.

  • 5 or more years- experience in contract management with a leading support services company in Canada.

  • Proven financial management skills within a multi-million-dollar corporation managing a comparable size business portfolio.

  • Detail-oriented with solid decision-making skills, demonstrated strategic thinking, and tactical implementation ability.

  • Creative and innovative in business management and development.

  • Experience in business development with a solid track record of growing and developing accounts at the C-level.

  • Solid interpersonal, relationship-building and customer-service skills.

  • Proven motivator, mentor, and leader.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Advanced computer proficiency.

  • Post-secondary education, MBA preferred.

  • Able to travel (daily and longer) depending on business needs regionally and across Canada.
