Salesforce Commerce Cloud seeks a Sr. Product Manager to lead the evolution of key elements of our industry leading ecommerce offering. Ideal candidates have a proven product management track record, delivering market leading enterprise software solutions in the digital commerce space or related markets. This role will capture and communicate market needs, work with our engineering team to build innovative solutions to those needs, and lead cross-functional solution delivery to drive market success and the growth of our dynamic SaaS platform.   • Capture and document market needs and product capabilities necessary to succeed in the markets we serve – use cases, personas, cross-functional deliverables.

  • Participate in the creation of product vision and strategy for portions of Demandware’s offering, and communicate the plan to internal and external parties.

  • Help define the product roadmap and prioritize investments through collaboration with customers, partners and key stakeholders in the organization. Identify minimally viable offerings to meet market needs.

  • Partner with Demandware’s Engineering, Design, Marketing and Operations leadership, taking accountability for the realization of the vision through product delivery, company enablement, and customer/partner adoption.

  • Work with the client-facing teams within Demandware (sales, support, services, training, etc) to ensure these teams are enabled on new product / feature delivery.

  • Ensure all aspects of product delivery are complete so that customer enablement and adoption is seamless and timely.

  • Represent Demandware as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events. Presentations with large audiences are required.

  • Analyze competitive offerings and potential partnership opportunities related to the product offerings.

  • Support sales and marketing efforts during go to market initiatives.

  • 5+ years of software product management experience, ideally managing enterprise solutions in ecommerce or related spaces. Must have hands-on experience as a product manager, working with engineering teams and driving whole-product strategy.

  • Exceptional critical thinking & analytical skills and the ability to make informed & fast decisions related to product feature design and direction. Demonstrated experience of ‘owning’ the decision/solution.

  • Outgoing personality, high energy and passion for solving the challenges at hand.

  • Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. Guiding teams to a precise understanding of product decisions and resulting impacts is critical. Experience guiding executives through product discussions is key.

  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming business needs into a successful product strategy. Proven ability to set & deliver on product vision & commitments.

  • Bachelors' degree, MBA and technical disciplines preferred

Additional Desired Experience/Skills:

  • In depth experience with ecommerce, order management, retail point of sale, merchandising or marketing solutions. Understanding of B2C and B2B selling practices.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.

  • On-demand, SaaS software product development for enterprise offerings.

  • Technical background and ability to engage with engineering on complex topics.

  • Experience developing solutions in collaboration with partners or third party solutions
