89 Degrees Associate Account Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts

89 Degrees is expanding and looking to add to its Account Management team. As an Associate Account Manager, you’ll work directly with industry leading marketers and help to drive consumer and business direct strategies. Collaborating with an integrated team of top-notch analytic, e-marketing, database and creative professionals, you’ll develop end-to-end marketing programs that change the way your clients think about loyalty and direct marketing. And with the power to see program performance from beginning to end, you’ll have the ability to tweak, redesign or overhaul programs to drive even more success. Exceptionally well organized, a strategic thinker with superior client relationship skills and a solid understanding of customer data and multi-channel digital marketing, you also have the ability to improve processes, motivate teams and deliver outstanding results for our clients.

Account and Program Management

  • Create monthly presentations highlighting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and program insights

  • Conduct web analytics that reveal marketing effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

  • Manage weekly reporting covering activities ranging from online shopping to financial results

  • Facilitate and participate in creative projects from initiation through deployment

  • Oversee “test and learn” initiatives designed to optimize response to email and direct mail communications

  • Support project definition and delivery of multiple projects, utilizing 89D tools (e.g., Jira) designed to define and track progress on all client work

Financial Management

  • Support activities designed to ensure account business financials are effectively and actively managed

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, resilient, trusting relationships with the client and is viewed as a strategic partner

  • Constructively solve client-related problems that arise, but attempts to avoid client problems by proactively anticipating client needs and meeting or exceeding them; can effectively and sensitively challenge a client Create and present materials for client that convincingly makes program or process recommendations and summarizes next steps

Teamwork Skills

  • Keep extended team apprised of projects and client decisions and developments that affect work; communicate new information to team as clearly, quickly and efficiently as possible

  • Pitch in willingly and enthusiastically to expedite completion of deliverables when an extra pair of hands is needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 2 -5 years of data driven marketing experience, with at least some including campaign development for email and direct mail preferred

  • Agency or service provider experience preferred

  • Automotive industry and/or loyalty program experience preferred
