Brandon Regional Hospital is a 438-bed acute care facility offering a number of specialty services including the Heart & Vascular Center, where the latest in cardiovascular surgery and minimally invasive techniques are performed, The Behavioral Health Center, The Women's Center, which includes our Baby Suites and 22 bed neonatal intensive care unit, The Reflux Center and a designated Bariatric Center of Excellence.

Essential Job functions: 1. Develop and implement effective strategies for program and service line development, launch new services and grow high margin service lines to support the following targets: - Inpatient Net Revenue Growth - 8% - 10% - Outpatient Net Revenue Growth - 10% - 15% - Admissions growth - 2.5% - 3% - Net Revenue/AA Growth - 6% - 7% 2. Develop and implement medical staff development strategies to increase support of physician splitters, enhance physician recruitment, and improve physician relationships. 3. Identify and implement effective MOB Development strategy, reviewing current occupancy rates, future needs, and OP service complement 4. Implement effective strategies to develop wider geographic access to services and provider networks to support new OP growth, acquisition, new hospitals, and expansion of current services 5. Develop effective strategies and initiatives to support development of division quality plan, differentiator programs, and analysis of physician practice and hospital based quality commitment. 6. Grow market share through Sales/Retail strategies - new programs, enhanced marketing efforts, and strategic initiatives around customer service, sales, and community relations. 7. Develop and implement effective strategies to support an integrated delivery system - leverage market and division network, provide ER to ER referrals, link clinical services, etc. 8. Develop and implement effective programs to align employee performance to organizational goals, enhance employee relations and improve employee retention. 9. Develop and implement effective programs and strategies to forward healthcare agenda through involvement and partnering with state government and/or regulatory agencies. 10. Manage operation expenses to the following targets: - LC/MH increase less than 4.0% - Productivity Improvement of 1-2% - Supplies/AA Expense less than 8.5%

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, Master's degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience in Accounting
  • Previous hospital and/or internal audit experience preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • Keen analytical and problem solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting
