Your responsibilities

As Senior Consumer Marketing Manager at Philips Consumer Lifestyle you will:

  • Drive the definition, development and introduction of a new Oral Healthcare product range that brings our consumers a superior performance and product experience

  • Translate in-depth market, consumer, dental professional and competitive analyses into winning concepts by defining – market specific - product positioning

  • Integrate these new concepts into a strategic product roadmap that uniquely addresses the needs of Philips’ Consumer Lifestyle markets

  • Helps develop creation of the category vision of marketing for the BU and helps to develop the 3-year category strategy

  • Deliver innovation to the market via the innovation product development process, from idea to product introduction

  • Interact with all associated disciplines, including Technology & Development departments, internal and external design agencies, own manufacturing units and/or external suppliers and the Commercial Organizations of key target markets

Your team

You will be part of a team of (sub)category dedicated marketing professionals reporting directly into the Sr. Consumer Marketing Director responsible for the Oral Healthcare adjacency/new value spaces business. The team brings a wealth of international experience: your peers have background in various parts of the ‘value chain’ bringing experience in ‘upstream’ marketing as well as ‘downstream’ experience e.g. from working in sales organizations or market communication.

Your experience:

A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred. A qualified candidate will possess:

  • Min 7 years’ experience in an international business environment, preferably in the field of consumer marketing, sales, product market introductions or marketing communications

  • Background in the Oral Healthcare business (either durables or FMCG area) preferred

  • International business experience preferred

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Brand Management/Product management with building a Brand Experience.

  • Experience in Dental Industry is a plus

  • Prior commercial experience as a Brand Manager is required in leading a brand within CPG and/or Medical Devices or Pharma industries.

  • Experience in Connected devices / Digital environment is a plus

  • Experience with Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)

  • Understanding of B2B channels, endorsement Marketing, Professional Marketing, is highly valued

  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills, with the ability to work successfully in a matrix organization are preferred

  • Demonstrated strengths in analytical thinking, problem solving, project management and executive presence are required.

  • Responsible for work flow production, training of new employees on covered jobs, answering job-related questions in one or more areas.

  • Thorough knowledge of personal computer software (Microsoft Office products) including word processing, project planning, presentation, e-mail, flow charts & spreadsheet software; printer, telephone, copier, calculator is required.

  • Experience in Lean Management is highly rated

  • Understands Consumer Insights and value proposition development

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit with CAN DO attitude and familiarity and experience with LEAN way of working
