Senior Industrial Designer

Your challenge

We need a Senior Industrial Designer who is passionate about healthcare and can create compelling, intuitive product designs primarily for a range of healthcare related sensor solutions.

Your responsibilities

Participate in user centered design approach including analysis, exploration, story telling, concept design and finalization. Translate customer needs, research findings and business requirements into appropriate and highly usable product designs as part of a larger patient monitoring eco-system. Build domain knowledge and create meaningful and innovative solutions for sensors. Use appropriate and effective functional design skills to articulate simplicity through function, interaction, manufacture, materials and finish - supporting business needs.

Design is a strategic function within Philips and you would be a member of a global multi-disciplinary team inspiring each other to deliver best in class products used by clinicians, patients, healthcare consumers and healthcare administrators.

We are looking for

• Masters / Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design

• 5+ years of relevant user centered design experience

• Strong analytical, creative and visual design skills including 3D CAD tools

• Understanding of the regulatory requirements for medical devices

• Collaborative team player

• Self-Motivated, pro-active thinker
